Seasonal first
Every curriculum is built around what is blooming locally right now. No imports, no waste.
Esencia Atelier began as a single bench in a sunlit studio in Sonoma Valley. Today it is a gathering place for those who believe flowers can teach us how to pause and create with intention.
Founders Lena Voss and Marco Solis met while restoring an old greenhouse. They noticed the same quiet joy when teaching others how to arrange seasonal blooms. In 2017 they opened the doors to their first small cohort.
Since then more than 2,800 students from 38 countries have joined our programs. We keep every class intentionally small so each participant receives real-time guidance and leaves with their own seasonal practice.
We teach sustainable, seasonal floristry so people can slow down, connect with nature, and leave behind work that feels alive.

Maximum eight students per cohort creates space for individual feedback and lasting community.
We share techniques that students can keep using for decades — never trends that fade.
